What does a cut out include?

The background removed, a shadow or reflection if you want one, alignment, up to eight sizes and the file types you need.

Is pure white right for Amazon?

Yes: the main image goes back on pure white (RGB 255, 255, 255), with the product filling the frame.

When is it a retouch instead?

When the product itself needs work – dust, scratches, reflections, a color cast. A retouch is $1.99 and includes the cut out.
